Healthwise, excess moisture can increase issues for people suffering from asthma, allergies, or even cause nose/throat irritation, fatigue, etc. The health of the house is also adversely affected by excessive humidity. It promotes mould growth, musty smell, peeling wallpaper or paint, fogged windows or water stains on the walls and ceiling, and also can cause malfunctioning of electrical equipment.

It causes the air to be dry, shrinking wooden furniture, damaging wallpaper, sense of irritability, and more. To the members, it may cause cold or respiratory issues, dry skin, itchiness, dry eyes, and more to list.
